    All the footage was captured on an iPhone, with an emphasis on experiencing time rather than merely recording it. Each scene presents a distinct rhythm, moments that stretch, repeat, or pass unnoticed, expressed through movement, light, space, and stillness. Together, these fragments explore how time can feel fragmented, continuous, or suspended depending on context and perception.

    These observations were then assembled into a cohesive compilation, allowing the transitions between scenes to mirror the fluid and sometimes disjointed nature of time itself. Thoughtful sound design and a restrained cinematic treatment enhance the emotional undercurrent, subtly guiding the viewer without overpowering the imagery. The result is a piece that reflects on time not as a fixed measure, but as a subjective and evolving experience.

  • Castle (Autodesk Maya)

    Castle

    Created by starting with basic primitives such as cubes and cylinders, and then shaping and refining them using Maya’s modelling features.

    Texturing & Modelling

    I tried texturing the castle halfway using a Blinn material with PNG textures, aiming for a controlled balance between specular response and surface detail. In parallel, the modelling process focused on building a strong base structure before gradually refining architectural elements such as walls, towers, and edges to maintain consistency in scale and form. Attention was given to clean topology and readable silhouettes, ensuring the model would hold up well under different lighting conditions.

    Multiple test textures were applied across the model to assess how materials wrapped around the geometry and how surface details translated at various distances. This process helped identify areas where additional modelling detail was needed and where texture information alone was sufficient. Through this back-and-forth between modelling and texturing, the castle evolved into a more cohesive asset, laying a solid foundation for further refinement, lighting, and rendering.

  • Nuke Rotoscopy

    ROTO

    I rotoscoped the human figure using a frame-by-frame rotoscoping technique to achieve precise and natural movement, carefully tracing each frame to maintain accurate motion and detail. For the fence, I used tracking tools to follow its consistent structure across frames, which allowed for faster and more efficient rotoscoping while ensuring alignment with the original footage. This combination of manual and automated methods helped maintain both accuracy and workflow efficiency.

    Final Output

    In addition, the Roto Alpha node was used to generate clean and accurate mattes from the rotoscoped shapes, ensuring proper separation of the subject from the background. Every shape was made using different roto node. The Merge node was then used to composite the rotoscoped elements seamlessly with other layers, maintaining visual continuity. The Filter Erode node played an important role in refining matte edges by shrinking, expanding, and smoothing them to remove unwanted artifacts and enhance realism. The Tracker node helped maintain consistent motion data for the fence, allowing it to stay perfectly aligned across all frames.

    Together, these nodes formed an efficient and structured workflow that balanced manual precision with automated tools. By combining frame-by-frame rotoscoping for the human subject with tracking-based rotoscoping for static elements like the fence, the process achieved both high accuracy and time efficiency. This approach resulted in a clean, professional composite with smooth edges, stable motion, and a visually convincing final output.
